Welcome Message
Distinguished delegates,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the Combined Fragility Fracture Asia Pacific and Thai Osteoporosis Foundation Meeting 2026, held here in Bangkok. This joint meeting brings together colleagues from across the Asia-Pacific region who share a common commitment to improving the care and long-term outcomes of individuals living with osteoporosis and fragility fractures.
The burden of osteoporosis continues to rise throughout the Asia-Pacific, and the growing number of older adults at risk of fractures presents increasing challenges for clinicians and health systems alike. Addressing these challenges requires collaboration that extends beyond individual institutions and national borders. This meeting provides an important opportunity to bring together shared expertise, experience, and purpose.
This year, we are honored to host 16 international speakers, together with many distinguished regional and local experts. Their contributions will enrich the program by offering global perspectives, practical insights, and innovations in acute fracture management, orthogeriatric care, rehabilitation, and secondary fracture prevention. We hope the sessions will stimulate meaningful discussion, promote knowledge exchange, and foster collaborations that continue well beyond the conference.
I would like to encourage all participants—clinicians, scientists, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, allied health colleagues, and policy partners—to engage actively in the sessions and discussions. Your participation is essential to strengthening our regional community and advancing fragility fracture care across the Asia-Pacific.
On behalf of the Thai Osteoporosis Foundation, and in my role as Co-Organizing Chair, I warmly welcome you to this meeting. I hope you find the program meaningful, the discussions inspiring, and your time in Bangkok both enjoyable and memorable.
